I’ve been carrying around a lot of guilt for something I never had the courage to say out loud. Writing it here feels like a way to release some of that weight without fear of judgment.
There are moments in life where we hurt people—sometimes without realizing, other times because of choices we regret deeply. I think apologies are powerful, even if the person they’re meant for never hears them directly.
This project feels like a safe space to finally say what I couldn’t before: I’m sorry. Sorry for the times I was careless with people’s trust. Sorry for letting silence stand in the place of honesty. Sorry for not being brave enough to admit my mistakes sooner.
Maybe these words won’t change the past, but writing them is my way of taking responsibility and beginning to heal.
Has anyone else here tried writing out an anonymous apology? Did it help you let go, or even inspire you to make amends in real life?
